This is called “The Twelve Apostles” (although there never were twelve of them!). Near Port Campbell along the south coast of Victoria, Australia. We drove through that area a few weeks ago. It’s quite spectacular, but a little further west is the best part (in my opinion), the Bay of Islands.
Google Maps 38°39’46.78″S 143° 5’57.20″E for the Twelve Apostles, and 38°34’58.89″S 142°49’24.05″E for the Bay of Islands. See it for yourself if you can.
Yes, that whole part of the coast is pretty amazing. Drive along the Great Ocean Road (start at Point Lonsdale and travel to Warrnambool along the coast — it’s only about 5 or 6 hours driving, but take a few days over it) to see all this, but make sure you deviate towards the Cape Otway lighthouse to see more koalas in one place than anywhere else I’ve seen.
And once you’re at the Warrnambool end, go on and see Mt. Gambier.
Location?
Indeed, I want to plan a trip there.
