that’s just a disk drive…it was only like $200…the base unit (a combo keyboard/CPU) cost $595 back then, so that’s about $1,400. There was also a cassette drive, and the base unit had a cartridge slot. (Mine always had the “colors” cart plugged in. With the press of a button on it you could cycle between 16 color combinations! …who cares if red/blue and yellow/white are completely unreadable…they’re options!)
