Once I had an argument with a Catholic who outright told me that as an Atheist, I can’t have any sense of morals. At one point, I pretty much retorted “Says the guy who worships a God who – by his mythology – created things like AIDs and cancer.”
To which their response was
“I have spent quite a few hours learning about cancer from various documentaries and what it boils down to is that cancer is caused by two things: toxicity and deficiency. In other words, there is too much of the bad stuff in the body and not enough of the good stuff. It’s really that simple. Cancer is simply one of the many effects of sin throwing off the perfect balance in which the world was originally created.”
Wow… She actually tried to justify God creating cancer… The Nazis would have loved to hire her for their PSAs.
Familiarize yourself with a concept called “Plato’s Fork,” it is a much better argument against people who think that you can’t have ethics without religion.

That’s why you don’t argue with people who believe in something. Belief, by definition, throws out of a window things like logical, rational thinking.

Things aren’t that pretty when you zoom in close enough. Never microscope your bed, or skin, btw.
