The strange thing is that half of the ten commandment signs that have been taken down or moved from government land (which inspired protests) were originally promotional material for the movie The Ten Commandments, rather than actual religiously inspired artifacts.
We should all be free to believe in any stupidity we want…I still think it’s a bad idea to offer Government protection for it though when the Majority (Christians) keep whining that they’re under attack from the rest of us (non theists) who pay taxes when we get together in social groups….

Just a comment on the fact that there are monuments of the ten commandments outside of some court houses, and that people want to put up more of them.
