only some 200,000 years away
Don’t forget…it would take some time to accelerate to near-light speed…and then humans couldn’t survive a sudden stop…so add in time for deceleration….another 100,000 years should be enough.
Once a starship got to near-light, time would slow to a crawl for anyone on board.
Question is, how long would it take to get to that speed? With our current propulsion systems, you’d be shit outta luck time.
Also: wrongcoon is wrong.
