Probably (I noticed you didn’t go to the effort either), but the trend is so well known it is taught in Aberrant Psychology courses: (at least in America) non-white people don’t bother becoming serial killers. Maybe they just always come up with a reason for their violence and thus never end up being in that “because I felt like it” category. Still, serial killer-ship seems to a byproduct of an otherwise safe, stable society, so I suspect this trend does not hold true in upper class Nigerian neighborhoods, etc.
I dunno about that “safe stable society” bit…it may seem like those types of crimes happen more in places like the US, but it’s more likely that they simply make the news more.
An associate of mine who lived in Russia for eight years was telling me once that they find a Jeffrey Dahmer equivalent about twice a year, and it never goes reported because…well, it’s Russia.
Anybody who says that serial killers are an entirely modern and/or American phenomenon is completely full of shit.

Not even close to being true. Whites make up just under 70% of the population and just over 70% of serial killers according to Government stats. So, whites are slightly more (significantly insignificant) like to be a serial killer than non-whites. But, in interracial crimes the victim is white close to 90% of the time and the criminal is black about 90% of the time.
