Trying to decide if I want to go to school for photography. This is some of my work. BTW, all of these were taken with my cell phone. HTC EVO 4G. I would like to know what you guys think about these.
I went through all that extra l33t coding and all you have to do is just paste the address and it automatically turns into a link? I guess that’s handy to know.
Ignore these people, if you want to pursue photography then go ahead, I’ve been doing some photography for over a year now (not professionally) and I’m enjoying it.
You, are fucking retarded. While cell phone cameras take nice pictures, you can not enroll in a photography class with a fucking CELL PHONE. If you’re going to insult someone, take off your rubber helmet and take your meds first shit for brains.
One of the problem with phone cameras (disclaimer: I’m no expert in this subject) is the lack of optical zoom. I’ve heard that digital zoom degrades the quality of the image, but maybe this doesn’t apply if you have tons of megapixels at your hands.
Still, I’d go for a digital camera over a phone too.
The first thing you need to do is stop asking people what they think. If you enjoy photography, do photography. Do stuff you like and if other people like it, that’s great, too.
Same with gear – work with what gets the results you want. If that’s a phone, use a phone. If it’s a cardboard box with a pinhole in it, that’s fine, too.
Rule of Thirds as Korinthian said. But if you are really into photography you need to get a digital SLR and get out shooting more than you need to enroll in school.
I think YOU’RE A PIECE OF COCK YOU ASSHOLE
(brotherly love)
lame
“Trying to decide if I want to go to school for photography.”
Don’t.
“I would like to know what you guys think about these.”
Not bad, but I like clouds, sunsets, so I’m probably biased.
I especially like the first one, but the rest of the photos lack a purpose (although they are nice).
I recommend reading about the , which is something I just learned about myself.
Botched link title. Anyhow it’s called “The Rule of Thirds.”
Link again for clarity (and practice):
Well, fuck.

the first thing your instructor will yell is STOP USING YOUR PHONE AND PICK UP A GODDAM CAMERA
Yes, I have been looking for one lately, somewhere in the $300-400 range.
Which shows he is out of touch, elist jerk, because phones can do what only top end digital Cameras could do 5 years ago….

This isn’t a good site for asking for opinions on.
I see that, lol

Right.
That.
This is the reason we have people with no talent auditioning on American Idol.
Do what you enjoy, but if you’re doing something in public you better have thick skin.
I think people with no talent audition for American Idol because there’s a chance they might get on TV anyway –
