You know, the more I look at this thing, the more I like it. I used to drive from Florida to Oklahoma to see my then girlfriend (now wife), and this looks much more comfortable than the 1999 Toyota Corolla I was driving at the time. Plus this looks like it would have had room for me to pull over at a rest stop and sleep for a few hours as opposed to chugging mountain dew, energy drinks, and pounding down boxes of nerds candy to drive the full 17 hour trip straight through that I did multiple times.
Is it the coolest looking ride? No. Is it practical? Yes. Function over form any day!
Also as a post thought, I would love to see pictures of the rear of this vehicle in order to see how the creator worked out access to the engine compartment.
That is clearly a snail.
Traveling cross country, alone (or with 1 other…maybe,) this would beat the living shit out of most vans, in terms of live-out-of-ability.
