Awesome mods available (I personally recommend the reverse spin/extended barrel thingy that extends the range of your shots by almost 50-80 yards). Honestly, you don’t need the ACOG or any sights (Iron are just fine) since most of your shots will never exceed 100 yards and paint balls are extremely inaccurate. Cyclone feeder = never jams. Highly durable with few moving parts. Easy to disassemble and clean. Its practically the AK47 of paintball guns.
One of the best guns/brands to start off with without spending too much money. Kudos.
Personally I’m getting into Airsoft myself but Scenario Paint Ball is still wicked good times.

I just recently started playing too, whilst i see my playing is a bit more serious then yours, I just recently Bought my dangerous power G4, eipc gun. My inverted halo hopper = never jams as well. 4500 ninja tank, and my save phace brain splatter mask. make me the “shoot that ass hole so we can play like normal” all over again at PB addicts where i go =D.
waste of money to upgrade a tipman if you ask me. they are like ak47 except for the fact no one who likes to play a lot is ever going to want one.
I don’t think it means you are more serious, just that you have more money to spend than me. And if you go to a scenario event and actually count the Tippmanns there you would see how many serious players use them and rely on them. Just check which marker Dre Wolf uses, or what BORG’s marker of choice was. Speedball is just a whole different animal and I guess your G4 is an awesome speedball marker.
^ This. Generally when I think of paintball I think of woods ball or something of that like. People who do that use Tippmans. I love my 98. Set it down, picked it up 4 years later and worked great. And an A5 is better.
People who just throw hundreds of dollars of paint in an area the size of a large class room? Well, that would be speed ball. Totally different game, nothing in common at all except that you’re both using balls.

Huh, you both just referred to your markers as “guns.” I thought enthusiasts didn’t do that. Shows what I know.
