Oh there’s nothing funny about it, really. We use religion against the religious to highlight their own hypocrisy, though fat chance getting ANY of them to face up to it. That’s what this chap seems to be doing; attacking the (presumably right-wing religious 99%) from the perspective of their revered icon. He’s calling them liars and poor Christians.
