In a blog post titled simply “Finally!,” J.H. Williams III notes the inclusion in DC Comics’ solicitations for November a listing for a trade paperback for Chase, the woefully short-lived 1998 series he created with D. Curtis Johnson.
I was a huge fan of this series back in the day, and was saddened when both the book and the character dropped off the face of the planet. Happy to see she’s still getting some attention. Maybe we’ll see her in the New 52?

From Wikipedia (if you can believe what they say) “Chase will figure into the New DC Universe as an agent assigned to find out the secret identity of Batwoman.”
I don’t know Tiki. I’ve been reading/selling/ordering/dealing in comics for 37 years and I don’t remember this at all. It only lasted 10 issues. It had to have had one of the lowest sub rates ever. It says she has an aura that can cancel meta abilitys. That’s gonna work out great for her because Batwoman isn’t a meta. I smell an ass kicking.
She’s also a former P.I. turned high-level government spook. And unlike the Bat clan, she carries a gun (and was formerly tasked with finding out who Batman was).
The bat clan doesn’t give a fuck about guns unless there is a Deadshot level of skill involved.
Remember, this is comicbook land, where a human being can avoid gunshots like it’s dodgeball.
Tell that to Captain America!
*Finger to ear* Wait. He’s alive? Bah!
lol.
Ok, bullets hit when the plot demands it.
