    actually, that is not the case: whether it is right-facing or left-facing, whether it is set square or at an angle, to a Hindu, the swastika is a symbol that represents Ganesha, the Lord of Removing Obstacles. furthermore, the swastika and the shatkona (six-pointed star) in combination have the same meaning to Hindus that the cross has to Christians, or the taijitu (“yin-yang” or tao symbol) has to Taoists.

    At this point, it makes no difference which direction/rotation it takes. It’ll be at least another 2-3 generations before the stink that the Nazis infused a 3000-year old symbol/design motif with begins to fade, even slightly.
