I enjoy mine quite a bit. A couple of disappointing bits though: The shoulder stock is wobbly. Not enough to take too much away from the rifle, but enough to make you question it every time you shoulder it. Also, the magazines fail to feed if you so much as brush them when you are shooting. If you use the magazine clamp that they make to attach two mags in the way that they proscribe the magazines will fail to feed. A sturdy, all metal mag would be nice. In the end, when I bring both, I end up firing the 1022 more though for one simple reason: The Butler Creek magazines and loader for the 1022. Being able to load the magazine quickly means more time plinking and less time mashing your thumbs.
Still, I found the GSG to be quite accurate and it has out-shot any optic I have found it worth putting on the rifle. If I had to pick one, I would probably keep the GSG and not the 1022.
I agree with the wobbly stock and the sight being better than any optic I’ve put on it. The high cap mags work a little better than the low cap that have had the plugs removed. If you use the mag to steady the weapon at all….it starts jamming.

Still a fun rifle though. 😉
