Seeing as we’re all star trekkie lately I figured I’d put this up, For star trek online they recently held a competition to design the Enterprise F, but the thing is, this is backed by paramount, and is considered canon, not sure how I feel about it, though it is kinda interesting

It’s just some cosmetic changes on the old design. No biggie. I liked the Enterprise d.
Hasn’t Paramount abandoned the original timeline for the reboot-verse? I imagine they aren’t going to maintain storyline in two different continuities.
It’s being continued in Star Trek: Online, that’s officially Licenced by Paramount and apparently they have to consult writers etc before they make any universe changing stuff, so It’s still alive, just in a different medium
Eh, I like E better.
The whole double-neck between the saucer & engineering sections is really ugly.
I don’t care what the “suits” at paramount say…unless it appears in a star trek movie/TV show, I don’t consider it canon. I know, it’s not up to me, but what’s next? The books? The comics? Everything that parmount will license? They are in it for the money and don’t give a fig about the star trek universe. And it looks ungainly. The front view is really terrible — looks like an oversized garbage can…look at it.
