    Insufficient magnetic field to prevent solar winds from stripping the atmosphere away. Nice idea, but not as easy as it looks. The planet’s lack of a magnetosphere may not be insurmountable, but it’s a significant problem to overcome.

    Haven’t you ever seen The Core? All we gotta do is go to the center of Mars, blow up a few nukes and bam! Instant magnetism! Mars will be the bell of the ball!
