5.7 mm rounds originally developed for the P90. They’re somewhere between a pistol and intermediate cartridge and the automatic weapons that use these types of rounds (the P90, the Mp7) aren’t classified as submachineguns or assault rifles, but rather as PDWs, personal defense weapons. Their main purpose is for tank crews and paratroopers.
yeh the 5.7 x 28 round, these ones here have a ballistic tip projectile in them. what that does is, well as you’d know a hollow point opens up. this does the same but its controlled how it opens so its much more effective, guns firing this round are illegal in most country’s because they go straight a bullet proof vest.
(happy as a fat kid in a candy store) I thought they’re JSP or something 🙂
But with: “go straight a bullet proof vest” I can’t agree, unless they’re not really hollow points, or those tips are made from DU (or some other “hard stuff”, if you don’t like to glow in the dark, are eco-friendly).
As for zombies, hope we never find out. But probably shotgun shell loaded with bearing balls, or something with more Zombie Stopping Power, would be better 😉
Gotta respectfully disagree, friend. You wouldn’t want to use a round like the 5.7x28mm against zombies, it’s an anti-body-armor round (small diameter, high velocity). It’ll put tiny holes straight through your target. Fantastic against living, breathing people who feel pain and suffer organ trauma from hydrostatic shock; not so fantastic against the walking dead who feel no pain and may not even have organs to traumatize.
That said, this is top-of-my-list in the event of a totalitarian government takeover, or invasion by an advanced (and body-armored) alien species.
This is a really cool gun. The ballistics are very impressive. It would have been handy for cops to have in that Hollywood bank heist. I’d like to fire it and see what it’s like… but if I were up against zombies, I’d still want a pair of Glock 18’s and an AA-12.

Gotta love the thigh holster for this things bigger brother the P90. Nothing says ready to go like a 50 round mag full automatic straped to your leg when u have to bail out of a burning tank.
Serious-looking ammo. Details?
They are actually wee pencils.

You guys are both wrong.
Get a sword.
korinthian,
Decapitation is a cool solution. Getting bitten when doing it, not so much.
It’s easy to miss with a gun when you’re terrified, but your flailing reflexes will be very much alive and kicking.
Shooting bullets is a cool solution. Being useless for the rest of the zombie invasion because you ran out of bullets, not so much.
0.5 of touché – shell packed with them balls, wouldn’t need precision aiming\shooting, but running out of ammo, would be a problem.
One problem with the sword theory: you’re gonna get tired a lot faster.

Beat me to it.
Ammo is too expensive. I want this and the p90 for my top line zombie survival kit.

HOLY FUCK! People on M[C]S that know what they’re talking about!? Thank you, gimpychinaman & metalhead2061.
I’ll take my .357sig over 5.7 any day any time.
Though, it’s actually a pretty good round for small frame shooter or females. The round has next to nothing recoil and very minimal muzzle flip.
