    A person that judges you upon the way you treat a waiter, when they do not know the history you and the waiter have, and decides you probably are not nice. Is not nice.

    The waiter is just incidental. The point is that nice people are not rude, regardless of circumstances.
    I’m not a nice person, I don’t even pretend to be, but that’s the standard.

    Correct – we had this thrown in our face twice recently with friend’s new girlfriends – they had their whole “hi nice to meet you im a great person” 1 hour routine down to a tee, but then you’d heard about the horrible shit they did to our friends / the way they acted / the shit they pulled (wont give a 2 paragraph story but typical insecure possesive mentals) – A couple of people would defend them somewhat, but it was clear they’d only got that show version of them a couple of times.
