i would say no, as it is only 40 bucks, has much improved and smoother gameplay, excellent voice acting with hilarious writing, and kick ass co-op. I’m just not seeing a downside, but I’m open to the concept, i suppose. . .
Portal 2 is a good game, but not nearly as good as 1, IMNSHO. You are given new tools, but have to use them exactly as they were intended for each map. No innovation, no trickery, etc. Yes, it looks good, good voiceover, funny at times, and smooth as any valve game on pretty much any hardware. BUT… COOP doesn’t further the plot line (who cares right) the ending sucked, and it wasn’t hard at all. Just figure out the right way to use whatever tools you were given (SERIOUSLY trying to not spoil here) on each map, then easily finish it. THAT’S the trick in this game, not thinking in portals like 1, but in the trick to solve the map. AND… the finish was MUCH easier to me this time. All in all, if there was no 1, 2 would STILL be a great game. But they set the standard, so they had to EXCEED it. I’ve finished Crysis 2 on extreme, now I’m waiting for Battlefield 3.
Portal FTW (NOT 2)
Is Portal 2 bad?

uh, why not 2?
