Truly, I find graffiti interesting and a great expression. However that is just the style, I find the act of vandalism offensive. If you want to express yourself, by a canvas or billboard or rent space on the side of a wall of someone’s property and do it there. I do not go to your house (mr. graffiti artist,) and demonstrate my shitty art skills, and I do not desire you to come to my office/work/place of business and demonstrate your excellent art skills.
Anyone else consider the idea that the business that was previously there allowed the graffiti to be there? Now that it’s for lease again, they clean painted the wall for the next business?
On a selfish note I know what I prefer – but in terms of being reasonable/thinking of what i’d do with a business if I was selling it, I’d probably paint over it too.
Initially my thought was 100% well done, shouldn’t cover it up, but really… practically… it has to be done doesn’t it…
