    I don’t know… making the decision that US forces should conduct an operation in violation of the sovereignty of a very large and already-unstable country knowing it could end up a complete fiasco for everyone involved is not normally a small enough matter to be considered “doing nothing,” especially since it also qualifies in his case as “doing your job.”
