Off of Highway 50 near Reno, NV. Ancient natives called the Cattail Eaters.
Fuck yeah, Anthropology!
I love the petroglyphs in Nevada. Those are so old, that when they were carved, eastern Nevada was covered in a giant lake.
How nutritious can a cattail be?
I’ve wondered about that since I was there. Has anybody ever eaten any kind of cattail? I haven’t. I’ve seen them- but that’s it.

Not much about it’s nutritious value, but clearly its been used.
