tiki- I’ve seen a lot of photos of you on this site. I hate to tell you this, but YOU’RE ALL FACE! You have an enormous head, your eyes are usually squinty, and you’re mouth is wide open with your teeth exposed just ASKING for bugs to hit ’em!
But I’ve got to hand it to you for being able to ride with such short legs. It’s no wonder you’re shopping for a Trike. LOL
That’s a nice scoot! I was leaning towards the Vulcan line, but both MrsBFD and I found Hondas that were setup just the way we wanted as baggers with floorboards and windshields.
There’s a really spiffy matte black Vulcan at the local toystore that keeps calling to me whenever I go by, if I had room for a “just in town” bike I’d buy it … but for now we have too many vehicles.
This is my second Vulcan and I love them, although the Hondas always get my attention when I enter a dealer. I especially love the look of that Shadow Phantom but a 750 is just too small for me.
I think the bike looks much better sans bags and shield, but bags are pretty much a necessity and after taking a 200 mile round trip ride on back-roads and some interstate I really noticed the wind slamming into me and decided to add it. I wanted to get one of those quick release shield from National Cycle but they don’t have them for the 900.
The most interesting thing though is that I got this used when the original owner sold it back with 26 miles on it – after having it six months! Got a great deal, but I’ll always wonder why it just sat in his garage all that time.
I’ve never really had much use for the shield, it didn’t stop the wind, and it never stopped the rocks and bugs from finding my face
