Rain or shine. Impressive. Not many people ride in the rain. I’ve never had a motorcycle, but my dad said riding in the rain with any skin showing at all hurts like a torrent of pins and needles.
ive been caught in bad weather a few times, and it sucked. I was hit with wind and rain leaving palm springs last weekend, and was pretty sure a gust was gonna lay me down but made it thru. very nice looking bike, bet it sounds awesome as well.
When the wind is really high, the Jersey Turnpike was closed to motorcycles. Hubby and I spent many a ride along 1 & 9 and more than once w/ the bikes at an interesting angle.
@reaver: Thanks, man. I like the way they look a lot, but they catch a hell of a lot of wind, which is no fun.
@heavy: Thanks. The rain tends to take the fun out of it, no doubt. And your dad is right, getting caught in the rain, especially in short sleeves, sucks balls. Fortunately, my dad gave me a quality rain suit for Christmas, so it’s not so bad.
@walther: I appreciate it. It sounds great. The pipes are Bubs Jughuggers and I’ve only had ’em on for about a month, but I’m thrilled with ’em. The stock ones were way too quiet.
I like those wheels
