    If you click on the image it makes it large enough to see the translation around the outside. Basically, it says “in many countries, you would be mutilated now”.

    I like it. Thats a pretty clever campaign. We really need to stop using the damned things. I can’t think of any weapon short of a nuke that is so much more likely to kill or injure a child than it is likely to kill the enemy. I can’t recall the numbers, it’s something frightening though like 10:1 or something. I’m hardly a peacenik, but scatterable antipersonnel land mines aren’t needed.

    Interesting way to get your message across, but it’s breaking the law to do it- littering.
    Also, who puts landmines in city sidewalks? Have them look like sand/dirt/grass and put them in the open fields and such. It’d be much more realistic.
