Being there is quite an experience. There’s a railed/wall path that you’re “safe” behind, but it’s not nearly as great as walking the dirt path where a bunch of cows were hanging out. Granted, there’s nothing to protect you on the dirt path, and they have signs to stay off of it, but who’s going to listen?
The day after I went a girl was blown off of it (day I was there wind gusts were up passed 60mph) luckily she somehow survived the fall into the water below and was rescued. Must have been high tide… or some kind of effing miracle, because it’s a REALLY far drop.
Anyway, if you get the chance, go there.
Galway is nearby so you can go get trashed afterwards.
I live about 200 miles from them – You’re not allowed on the dirt path these days (legally). Doesn’t stop hundreds of people from going onto it for better pics of the cliffs. Good day trip.
Was there just a few weeks ago. Somewhere at the bottom there is my friends iPhone….in pieces. I guffaw’d.
LOL.
I saw a lamb go off there once. :'(
It’s… The Cliffs… of Insanity!
Seriously looks like it, though…
with only 3 comments listed I had HOPED to get that one in first!

crap! both of you beat me to it..
that’s what I get for shoveling snow all afternoon…

At some points if you throw a rock over the edge it comes back and attacks you, true story.
