So far not all that excited for this and I am a huge Three Musketeers Fan. Still need to finish the book too. Not an easy read, but hilarious and full of action. Classic characters, they never go away for a reason.

This idea is like Robin Hood. Stop it, we’ve seen it a thousand times, no one cares anymore…
Can someone please explain this to me:
WHY DON’T THEY USE MUSKETS!?!?
that question has been plaguing me for years!
In around the 17th century, guns started replacing bow/arrow and crossbow infantry as the basic troop on the field for range, and started to overtake pikemen in the 18th. Essentially, a Musketeer (Fusalier, pistoleer, whatever) was a rank-and-file infantryman in the standing army, would fight in ranked formation giving out volleys of fire.
Dumas’s musketeers are out-of-service cos the king/prince whatever decided to suspend all the loyal officers (which they were) due to his wanting to do naughties. Hence, they’re now being bodyguards, where a 17th/c musket would be useless. Therefore, swords.
The More You Know!
in 3D! It’s going to amazing…
…seriously though it has many people I have never heard of in it. Therefore it will be shit.
Mila Jovovich….. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmhhh!
Ray Stevenson?
From HBO’s Rome and the Punisher movie? Okay, then.
Ray Stevenson as Porthos? I hope his character acts more like Titus from the Rome series.
You’re a huge fan, but you haven’t even finished the book? Congratulations, you’re the world’s only Three Musketeers poser.
Mila Jovovich, hm, this movie is seriously gonna lack in the sex appeal market.
Its got Orlando Bloom so you should be okay.
He is sooooooo 2008.
