Maki-what-a?
It’s Puulaahi, just ignore it.

Thanks.
It made his knuckles pregnant.
Watching that Budo docu right now. Man that Karate guy is insane. His bones must be crazy dense.
But how do they feel about fists the size of your head?
Judoka wore black belts before it was cool.
That was my hipster moment.
Amazing. The guy in Oldboy kind of emulated this by punching a wall, right? But I’m not sure if the makiwara is supposed to build up scar tissue.
Kinda. Body hardening techniques exist in a variety of martial arts. It’s debated whether or not it’s of any actual use.
But when Oh Dae-su had the fight scene in the hallway he was using good ol’ Boxing. And a hammer 🙂
Ahh… Good times. Want your own? Bury 2 feet or more of a 2×4 in the ground, with the end in the air, about chin height. Duct tape a couple of mouse pads for the target surface. Beats the crap out of any punching bag.
A punching bag has a completely different purpose.
A comparison between the two is pointless.
Or you could fill a punching bag full of telephone books.
