It probably isn’t as good as the second film but it’s a definite must for a Tony Jaa fan like me. I enjoyed it but it didn’t make me want to rewatch the fight scenes like I did with the other two. I’m excited for what he’ll be doing next though. As far as I’m concerned, he’s my new Bruce Lee.
I just found out he is taking a break from his martial arts career. So bummed. But he is a Buddhist Monk now. Tony Jaa is following the true path. So crazy! Anyhow, can’t wait to see this.
What! He’s only 34 or something like that. I bet he’ll be back soon enough. That’s amazing though, that he’s a proper Buddhist monk now. I think it could be that he wants to do this for a while until he has learned more about life and become more mature so that he can tell new stories either through acting or directing. That’s my theory anyway. If Bruce had lived longer he would have probably done something along those lines as well.
Oh most definitely! Hell, Bruce Lee would have probably been directing Brandon Lee. Wouldn’t be surprised if they both become monks at the beginning or end of theirs careers. I’m doing martial arts and I swear I am evaluating who I am as a person ever so strictly nowadays. Martial arts feels almost more internal then physical to me sometimes. Because it’s all in your head, your body is just supposed to react. Very philosophical. At least that is how I see it.
