Stegasaurus can charge forwards, as its bony faceplate would deflect most hits, its horn can damage most light vehicles, and it tramples infantry

what look like 20mm guns on each side are good for light vehicles, targeting ones that might move aside before the Steg can get them, keep infantry pinned in cover and are good anti-air

the 88 on the back can clear up anything left behind, and can move on its axis to face either side, good for picking off tanks left behind or flanking

bonus: the additional space on the side platforms allows for transport of extra men: could carry support crew like demolition experts to crack open what you were charging for,.. or flamethrowers to deal with large numbers of enemy troops, or have room to carry special prisoners
