    I’ve been wanting to find the Japanese version with subtitles, as I also had the issue you had, but have hope that the original Japanese is better.

    There is no Japanese version of Voltron. There is a show called Beast King GoLion which got converted into the ‘five lions’ part of the Voltron series, but it is not the same thing.

    Same here. It was a little depressing. I also don’t hold out much hope for the upcoming live-action movie, either.

    Now, the old Dungeons & Dragons cartoon held up a lot better, IMHO, and not just because you see Shiela’s panties, either.
