I know plenty republicans who don’t like any of these clowns either. A crybaby, a puppet and a guy with a nasty temper. The majority of people who are fearful and intimidated are the followers of these people, not their opponents. It’s not the liberals who are afraid that Obama is a communist Nazi Muslim leader in disguise. I think Beck should teach his followers how to draw a Stalin moustache so that at least we can get the Nazi thing out of the way.
These are three good examples of why I don’t go around outing myself as a Republican, because when I do, people automatically assume I love these three bags o’ douche.
Want a Republican you can be proud of? Read some of Robert Green Ingersoll’s speeches, and marvel at what he was saying on Freedom and Equality in the 1800’s.
I’m not a republican but there are many republicans that I look up to. These three are just caricatures of the people they supposedly admire.
Ingersoll was dope. Though there are still admirable republicans around, it’s just they’re underdogs. Or their names are mysteriously missing from ballots even though they’re still running.
You can’t honestly compare the Republican Party today with how it was in the 19th century. Compared to today’s Republican, even Nixon would be a liberal.
DADT is only one issue, which was challenged in court by a small number of Republicans.
Nixon ended the gold standard, increased social security, created the minimum wage, created the EPA, created the Supplementary Security Income program (welfare) and tried to pass the Comprehensive Health Insurance Act (which was even more ‘socialist’ that Obama’s health care reform).
Nixon was more liberal that frickin’ Obama, let alone any Republican today.
Reagan was in office when the cold war ended, but it was won with President Truman’s strategy of forcing the USSR to run itself into bankruptcy. He almost botched it with astronomic defense spending beyond what was necessary.
Yeah. He is. Not my fault that you are so far right that you think life long moderates like Obama are flaming liberals. When he leans right to try to get a compromise with repubs that refuse any middle ground, he becomes worse than useless. Thats still better than Bush.
Its OK, though. You don’t know much about US politics, which means you would fit in fine with most of our citizens.
I’m not a republican, but seriously, you think these three are a good representation of the republican party? The repub friends (except one) I have despise these guys.
I know plenty of Democrats who don’t like any of their clowns either (you know, Olberman, Maddow, Ed Schultz) but you don’t see such an orchestrated effort to demonize and marginalize them as you see the liberal left does to Beck, Palin and O’Reilly.
When was the last time a well-known conservative politician made personal attacks against any liberal commentator, like you see Obama and Biden do to conservative commentators?
Um, Michael Moore, Trying to tie everyone to Larry Flint or Barbara Streisand? Freedom Fries? Cut-and-run Democrats? Liberals are all communists or freedom haters? Give me a break! Republicans have turned demonization and ad homonim attacks into a friggin’ art form.
What well-known conservative polictain made a public attack against fat-ass lying Michael Moore, Barbara Streisand or Larry Flint? And what the hell does “Freedom Fries”, “Cut-and-run Democrats” and stating qualities of “Liberals” in general have anything to do with individuals?
O’Reilly certainly goes after Olbermann and Maddow. Many go after her because she’s gay. They even pulled out her high school senior photo commenting on the waste of a good looking woman and that was the nicest thing they said. Everyone goes personal, sooner or later. FOX started it. CNN doesn’t do it that much, if at all, but FOX and MSNBC go after each other, individually, all the time. They’re pundits, it’s what they do. I have no idea about Ed Schultz, never watched the show.
I’m with you, Korinthian. I certainly don’t fear Beck. He’s a clown. Its his listeners and viewers that he instills fear in. They freak out at his campfire ghost stories and can’t separate reality from Beck’s mental illness.
Palin? Dallasalice, what does Palin stand for? Since you are so certain that we lefties don’t know, why don’t you tell me, and not in bumper sticker terminology, please.
O’Reilly runs a show where he shouts over anybody who doesn’t agree with him. I don’t consider him intimidating. Just another bully who never grew up.
Pretty sure that it is ok. You forgot that introductory clauses and independent clauses require comma use, so I see no reason to rely on you, Miss Grammar.
The only people that fear Beck are the types that freak whenever someone shows old Nazi newsreel footage. Can you say “boogeyman”?
And as I remember, Palin believes Africa is a country.
O’Reilly seems to think that all 1.2 million Muslims in the world had a part in the 9/11 attacks. Pretty damn good religion if they can get more than a million people to agree on anything. Even better that they can get that many to keep it secret from the FBI, CIA and NSA.
So, it wasn’t the Japanese who attacked Pearl Harbor, just a bunch of Japanese extremist? It wasn’t Germans who invaded Poland and France, it was German extremist? It wasn’t the Mongols who killed 30 million Chinese during the Mongol invasion, it was Mongol extremist?
I remember seeing cheering Muslim crowds filling the streets in almost all Muslim countries when 9-11 happened, in fact many Muslim countries (many of them supposedly pro-western) had over a 70% approval of Osama bin Laden right after the attacks. It has only been over the last few years that international Muslim support has decline for terrorist attacks(about 45%) and studies indicate that it is because more Muslim are killed in terrorist attacks than “infidels”, not because they disapprove of concept of killing civilians in general.
The people who committed the 9-11 terror attacks may have been “extremist”, but they had support of a majority of the people of their religion. Now can you find that same level of support of Timmy McVay or Eric Rudolph by people of their faith?
Interesting, because I remember hearing broadspread sympathy for our country after 9-11 from nearly everyone until we squandered that support with bullheaded stupidity.
From wikipedia:
“It is thought that Rudolph had the assistance of sympathizers while evading capture. Some in the area were vocal in support of him. Two country music songs were written about him and a locally top-selling T-shirt read: “Run Rudolph Run.” The Anti-Defamation League noted that “extremist chatter on the Internet has praised Rudolph as ‘a hero’ and some followers of hate groups are calling for further acts of violence to be modeled after the bombings he is accused of committing”
I know a lot of people where I was growing up (rural Nevada) were sympathetic to McVeigh, too. If it wasn’t for the daycare center at the Federal building, there would have been a lot more vocal support. Go to someplace like Northern Idaho and you’ll find that right-wing, anti-government militias are still very active.
Of course McVeigh and Rudolph had some supporters, but what were the percentages? There is enough people in this country that if only 1% of them supported those knuckleheads that would be over 3 million people. Do you honestly believe 3 million supported McVeigh and Rudolph? Whereas my point was that Osama bin Laden had a higher approval rating among internation Muslims than does Obama with his own people.
I can’t stand O’Reilly just as much as the next guy, but watching him piss off Whoopie Goldberg (who’s real name happens to be Caryn Elaine Johnson) & Joy Behar to the point that they walk off their own set on The View earns him a special place in my “I Hate The Damn View Show” mantle.
More like Alcoholic Mormon, Derpaholic Wharrgarbler, and personality-wise O’Reilly is just kind of a dick to people. He’s almost sane compared to some of the shit Fox has nowadays.
She’s just a housewife with Twitter now. She could be using these 4 years to try and stuff in a lifetime of political knowledge and try to give it a shot for 2012, but it’s pretty obvious she’s not even trying. She reminds me now of the old lady who keeps writing my free local newspaper’s editorial about how not having a national day of prayer is why people murder each other and have abortions.
She really needs to go away though. Her ideas and voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Her followers are even worse because they are dumber than she is.
Cue Right-Wing rant in 10…9…8…
To a far right-wing conservative, reality has a liberal bias.
Yes, liberals fear Beck. And yes, liberals are ignorant of who Palin really is and of what she believes. And yes, O’Reilly intimidates liberals.
Is that a rant? I can never tell . . .
Oh yeah, see you in November.
I know plenty republicans who don’t like any of these clowns either. A crybaby, a puppet and a guy with a nasty temper. meanwhile in Austria
You can’t honestly compare the Republican Party today with how it was in the 19th century. Compared to today’s Republican, even Nixon would be a liberal.
If that was true, why was the latest challenge to over-turn the President’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy brought on by Republicans?
California Log Cabin Republicans. 1)Had a vested interest, and 2)Not really representative of the current political winds within the party.
DADT is only one issue, which was challenged in court by a small number of Republicans.

Reagan wouldn’t be accepted by the current republicans.
Of course not, he doubled the national debt. Not exactly Tea-party material.
He also won a war. No one is perfect.
Which war was that? Grenada?
Reagan was in office when the cold war ended, but it was won with President Truman’s strategy of forcing the USSR to run itself into bankruptcy. He almost botched it with astronomic defense spending beyond what was necessary.
Three of the most powerful people in American Politics…
Like dallasalice said. See you @... the polls
Because midterm elections almost never go against the party in power, right?
40% approval rating.
Inyourfaceyoufuckinghomolol
And he deserves it for sliding so far to the right.
Obama is too right wing for you?
You are more of a woman than most women.
Yeah. He is. Not my fault that you are so far right that you think life long moderates like Obama are flaming liberals. When he leans right to try to get a compromise with repubs that refuse any middle ground, he becomes worse than useless. Thats still better than Bush.

shut the fuck up jew.
obama is a screte cummunist-nazi-muslim-gay-abortionits-terrorist-illegal-(more bad thing here)
I’m pretty sure nobody fears Beck. The fear I think this picture is referring to is how he scares his republican viewers with silly propaganda.
I’m with you, Korinthian. I certainly don’t fear Beck. He’s a clown. Its his listeners and viewers that he instills fear in. They freak out at his campfire ghost stories and can’t separate reality from Beck’s mental illness.

You two should fuck and have retard babies.
Ape.
Homosexual pedophile.
I am not a priest, thank you very much.
way to fuck a comma again
i bet that lame ass fucking joke would have killed at one of your nowhere town pseudo hipster circle jerks
just shove your iphone up your ass and quit trying to be funny
Pretty sure that it is ok. You forgot that introductory clauses and independent clauses require comma use, so I see no reason to rely on you, Miss Grammar.
Who is to say you aren’t our offspring?
that makes about as much sense and is as funny as anything you’ve ever said on here
Go to your room!

There’s a difference between 1% and 70%.
whammy
take your truth back to reality. we only like bullshit here on the internet.
Whoa…wtf?!?
You’re making WAY too many fucking assumptions here bro.
Last I checked, Muslim wasn’t a country.
Fuck, I hate The View.
You just hate The View because you believe the earth is round.
You agenda is so obvious.
Gee, her real name isn’t Whoopie? I bet there are maybe six people in the world who didn’t know that.
Next you’ll be telling us that “Carrot Top” isn’t his real name, either.
…whoa whoa whoa, what do you mean exactly? The “Carrot” part?
I would expect his first name would be Carrot and his last name would be Top. Perhaps if he had kids he could name them “Bottle” and “Convertible”.
More like Alcoholic Mormon, Derpaholic Wharrgarbler, and personality-wise O’Reilly is just kind of a dick to people. He’s almost sane compared to some of the shit Fox has nowadays.
O’reilly is a pompous pinhead.
Palin has zero political power. She isn’t even a drop in the pool.
She’s just a housewife with Twitter now. She could be using these 4 years to try and stuff in a lifetime of political knowledge and try to give it a shot for 2012, but it’s pretty obvious she’s not even trying. Lame, typical liberal name calling.
It’s not the liberals they’re trying to affect…or scare.
This is pretty right the fuck on. Its these people who give many republicans a bad name. L2stfukthnxbai.
Yeah, liberals should totally stop calling Obama Hitler.
You’re right. Hitler actually got shit done.
Dictators do get things done. It’s so much easier when you can convince the opposition with torture and death.
Is that what you learned before dropping out of high school, little fella?
Obama is a failed dictator and a lesson learned.
It’s common sense; I was born with it.
You were not.
If failing at being a dictator has anything to do with not trying to be one…
