To a far right-wing conservative, reality has a liberal bias.
Yes, liberals fear Beck. And yes, liberals are ignorant of who Palin really is and of what she believes. And yes, O’Reilly intimidates liberals.

I know plenty republicans who don’t like any of these clowns either. A crybaby, a puppet and a guy with a nasty temper. The majority of people who are fearful and intimidated are the followers of these people, not their opponents. It’s not the liberals who are afraid that Obama is a communist Nazi Muslim leader in disguise. I think Beck should teach his followers how to draw a Stalin moustache so that at least we can get the Nazi thing out of the way.
These are three good examples of why I don’t go around outing myself as a Republican, because when I do, people automatically assume I love these three bags o’ douche.
Want a Republican you can be proud of? Read some of Robert Green Ingersoll’s speeches, and marvel at what he was saying on Freedom and Equality in the 1800’s.

Ingersoll was dope. Though there are still admirable republicans around, it’s just they’re underdogs. Or their names are mysteriously missing from ballots even though they’re still running.

Nixon ended the gold standard, increased social security, created the minimum wage, created the EPA, created the Supplementary Security Income program (welfare) and tried to pass the Comprehensive Health Insurance Act (which was even more ‘socialist’ that Obama’s health care reform).
Nixon was more liberal that frickin’ Obama, let alone any Republican today.

Reagan was in office when the cold war ended, but it was won with President Truman’s strategy of forcing the USSR to run itself into bankruptcy. He almost botched it with astronomic defense spending beyond what was necessary.

When was the last time a well-known conservative politician made personal attacks against any liberal commentator, like you see Obama and Biden do to conservative commentators?

O’Reilly certainly goes after Olbermann and Maddow. Many go after her because she’s gay. They even pulled out her high school senior photo commenting on the waste of a good looking woman and that was the nicest thing they said. Everyone goes personal, sooner or later. FOX started it. CNN doesn’t do it that much, if at all, but FOX and MSNBC go after each other, individually, all the time. They’re pundits, it’s what they do. I have no idea about Ed Schultz, never watched the show.

O’Reilly seems to think that all 1.2 million Muslims in the world had a part in the 9/11 attacks. Pretty damn good religion if they can get more than a million people to agree on anything. Even better that they can get that many to keep it secret from the FBI, CIA and NSA.
So, it wasn’t the Japanese who attacked Pearl Harbor, just a bunch of Japanese extremist? It wasn’t Germans who invaded Poland and France, it was German extremist? It wasn’t the Mongols who killed 30 million Chinese during the Mongol invasion, it was Mongol extremist?
I remember seeing cheering Muslim crowds filling the streets in almost all Muslim countries when 9-11 happened, in fact many Muslim countries (many of them supposedly pro-western) had over a 70% approval of Osama bin Laden right after the attacks. It has only been over the last few years that international Muslim support has decline for terrorist attacks(about 45%) and studies indicate that it is because more Muslim are killed in terrorist attacks than “infidels”, not because they disapprove of concept of killing civilians in general.
The people who committed the 9-11 terror attacks may have been “extremist”, but they had support of a majority of the people of their religion. Now can you find that same level of support of Timmy McVay or Eric Rudolph by people of their faith?
Interesting, because I remember hearing broadspread sympathy for our country after 9-11 from nearly everyone until we squandered that support with bullheaded stupidity.

I know a lot of people where I was growing up (rural Nevada) were sympathetic to McVeigh, too. If it wasn’t for the daycare center at the Federal building, there would have been a lot more vocal support. Go to someplace like Northern Idaho and you’ll find that right-wing, anti-government militias are still very active.
Of course McVeigh and Rudolph had some supporters, but what were the percentages? There is enough people in this country that if only 1% of them supported those knuckleheads that would be over 3 million people. Do you honestly believe 3 million supported McVeigh and Rudolph? Whereas my point was that Osama bin Laden had a higher approval rating among internation Muslims than does Obama with his own people.
There’s a difference between 1% and 70%.
