I’ve got a few ideas how this could be going… What did you do? Pour sugar, juice and yeast into the melon, pop in the airlock?

Swap the sugar for honey and you’ve got yourself some delicious watermelon mead.
How exactly should i do that?
Watermelons are now cheaper than potatoes..
Champagne yeast is a good, all-purpose fermenting yeast. I would just drill a hole, add champagne yeast and some sugar water to get it started, then cap it with the fermentation lock, as shown.
