I didn’t say that we did. I know its hard for you to get this past your tinfoil hat, but people just like you are being manipulated in the US into freaking out over a mosque that a year ago was praised by the right wing. These people (with an understanding of the US Constitution to rival your own) think that civil rights should be decided by opinion poll and base emotion alone. When this mosque and its leadership were useful as friends, they were friends. Now they are useful as enemies.

In all seriousness, what exactly is the complaint against the Mosque/Community Center being built near Ground Zero? On what grounds is it not being allowed based?
The grounds that it would hurt people’s feewings, and that when it comes to Islam, our constitutional freedom of religion now has about as much meaning to the average American as a roll of Charmin.
