The TMNT were stone-cold hard-laced BADASSes. The Shredder not so much, the Turtles straight killed him in the first issue.
well, Shredder went over a ledge, and they threw a grenade after him. They don’t know that he actually died. At least, that is the way I read it. But yeah, they were hard ass. I actually sold this book, along with a bunch of others, at the height of the TMNT craze.
Solsun Publishing produced 1 off, poor quality black and white comics with four color covers. An example would be “How to Draw Comics by John Byrne”.
Because of that, I’m not surprised that the cover is wrong; but, I am a little surprised that Eastman and Laird would have approved it though.
