Pretty sure it is also the most expensive beer too at over $700.00 a bottle. I had the Tac Nuke Penguin. Not so great actually. I love Brewdog’s Punk IPA though.
For all you idiots who talk about it being distilled. Tactical Nuclear Penguin is freeze vatted. Much like the other strong beers they dont distill, they freeze the mixture. Water seperates from the beer, beer is drained off, water thrown away, repeat process until you have very strong beer.
You should all read a bit more before making yourself look like fools. PAR
its not distilled because if it was we would have to pay excise duty on it. there’s certain methods that can be used to increase alcohol content without killing the yeast
The alcohol limit of a beer depends on when the yeast dies. By changing the temp, you can change when the yeast dies due to the amounts of dissolved gases in the liquid at different temperatures. Normal limit is around 7-14% depending on where you are and what’s already in it to begin with.
“In 2010, BrewDog produced a 55% A.B.V. freeze-distilled beer called The End of History, with the bottles packaged in the stuffed dead bodies of small animals, priced at £500 and £700 each. BrewDog claim that this set new records not only for alcoholic strength in a beer, but also for price. Advocates for Animals called the gimmick ‘perverse’.” en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BrewDog_Brewery#Beers
I don’t call this “BEER”!:(

I can’t believe that a stout with the best beer name ever could be not so great.
It was like someone spilled whiskey in it.
I am very sorry to hear that.
how to did you manage to get your hands on some?
I’ve said it before, if it’s distilled then its not beer.

Why are you still arguing with me? Atk posted a link that directly says its freeze-distilled. Like their Nuclear Penguin was. It ain’t beer.
That is one amazing bottle.
“Hey check it out, while your squirrels carry nuts in their mouths, mine carry piss”
“Pull my tail”
“Hey this squirrel can fit this bottle inside its mouth, I’m sure you could do the same -wink- “
Those are really stuffed squirrels….
What the fuck?

Yeah, I don’t care how good it is, I’m not gonna drink something poured out of a bottle that’s been stuffed down a squirrel’s gullet.
That lasted about 1 week.
