    Why wouldn’t they design money with the completed Death Star, rather than the partially-completed state it was destroyed in?

    Because there were trillions of imperial employees, and they were all union and shit, so the second death star got a half ass design, even though it was fully operational.

    And they’re called imperial credits, not star wars money.
