Yeah, i think you are right, I just realized they have guyed the handlebars and are using front struts as vertical supports, so the tire would have to be off in order for it to be a more stable platform. And, I suppose, so the handlebars aren’t too high to be used that way. Pretty clever actually…

This looks like a cool idea. And the seat and handlebars stay dry too. But… Where is the front tire?
I think this pic shows as “camping” set up. I’d bet that it all folds up in someway when you want to use it as a bicycle.
