The Island is such a good show! I especally love all the questions i have.
Are you talking about Lost? Lost, for all intents and purposes, is an experiment in unscripted story telling. At least in soap operas there is a story line, an implausibly convoluted on, yes, but a consistent storyline nonetheless.
I don’t think there was any kind of cohesive plot in LOST until the last season, it seems like they just made stuff up as they went along, dropping hints that allude to nothing, and plot devices that go nowhere.
Ultimately it looks like they are pulling it all together for the last season, but I think it could have been so much better…
