A nice evening in Seattle 2 weeks ago so I went downtown to shoot some photos.
#1 Ferries in the Puget Sound, sunset over the Olympic Mountains.
#2 Pike Place Market, where they throw the fish.
#3 Pine Street, Coffee shop Neon reflected in the glass next to Post Alley. (My personal favorite)
Touristy?: Maybe.
Awesome?: Yes.
I went there when I was about 15. It was a “mission trip” to go help with the coat drive they do for the needful. There was a girl named Molly that was going to the church we partnered with, she was like Italian or something, and she wore hoops and had amazing brown eyes. I believe this is when my fascination with a). hoop earrings and b). brown eyes started.
Also the fish throwing was pretty entertaining.
That, I did see. Those guys are amazing.
I’ve only been to Seattle once, a few years ago. It was for my cousins funeral, so I didn’t get to sightsee much. It is a lovely city though and the weather was perfect. My aunt joked that I brought the sunshine w/ me. Someday I’ll get back and be all touristy and shit.
