Back in my day when I actually had time to watch TV on Saturday mornings, they had all these weird Anime shows that made no sense. This was one of them.

    Oh shit! I remember this! Now serving Fried Ricer! God that show was weird. It was like Pokemon, except it was if the Pokemon where named random food puns, like Fried Ricer, and other assorted things.

    I torrented the series because I was nostalgic for it, but I couldn’t stand watching more than the first 2 eps. I don’t know how I could stand watching this as a kid.

    I couldn’t agree more. Burnt meatballs was their idea of comedic gold. I don’t know why that is one of the only details I remember.
