Man you don’t know how depressed I’ve been feeling. Hockey was the only olympic sport they didn’t play over here. Growing up in Canada every guy I know was glue to the TV during the winter olympics, watching hockey.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt so homesick.

In other news, the Canadian Hockey League still fails to startup as Canadian players flock to America to play in the NHL.
Shit I’ve been rooting for the Montreal, Ohio Canadiens all this time? Two of the original six are Canadian, and a Canadian team won the tournament for over 20 years before an American won a single stanley cup (or equivalent).

last time i checked the US was in the lead in medals. See typical canadians only seeing what they want to see.
Please remember that this is only the Winter Olympics. If you total the medals for each country from the past Summer Olympics and these Winter Olympics, the totals are 147 medals for the USA (45 Gold) and 44 medals for Canada (17 Gold.) Not. Even. Close.
Can’t wait until the summer olympics when Canada will probably get a whopping 4 gold medals.
Come come. It was an awesome game. I’m a Canadian but I was thrilled when the Yanks tied it up. It was exactly as exciting as an Olympic gold medal game was supposed to be.
