    If you’re talking about the television series, I’m forced to disagree. For instance: the inflatable “skirt” isn’t cannibalized from a hot-air balloon, the props aren’t a bunch of stolen ceiling fans and the gun barrels aren’t made out of logs.

    I was looking at these over on the militaryphotos.net russian military photo group and thinking about posting.
    Apparently the Russkies have a bunch of versions and sizes of these things.

    The ones the US Marines use are open-topped, I like these better.

    Weren’t they used in Clancy’s Red Storm Rising to invade Iceland?
