Exactly.
Genius writers should’ve thought this out more before pushing their own agenda.
Nanobots that prevent him from believing in anyone greater than himself? Seriously?
Who is that asshole? Is his name “Blind Faith”?
Well, Thor and the other asgardians and olympians are technically creatures that were affected/spawned by the God Wave, a sort of energy field that creates… gods or something?
I love Fantomex. Also, Thor and the rest of the “Gods” can die and they require no faith to believe in them. They don’t demand worship or faith. They are merely hereos, and they aren’t greater than Fantomex.
This reminds me of Dogma, when Matt Damon’s character (who’s the unemployed angel of death) pretends to be an atheist just to mess with the clergy.
While the real world leaves it up to the person to believe what they want, Marvel Universe is a place inhabited by gods ranging from Thor to Eternity, and everything in between. And they’re not shy about interfering with mortal lives at all.
Not believing in gods in the Marvel Universe seems akin to thinking the world is flat
Wolverine?

I don’t need nano bots.
SCIENCE!
And yet… Thor.
Exactly.

Yeah, this is more of a “This is how I think atheists think” than anything. But the math thing is cool.
I have a feeling that the Kree wouldn’t consider Thor or Odin deities based on some technical detail.
