Hello everyone! Hope you all had a safe and enjoyable new years, I would like to tell you that I love and appreciate all of you. Over the last few years, you’ve given me a lot, and I hope you’ve enjoyed your time here. I have a few things to note:
1 – My new years resolution is to no longer drink alone. I know it sounds sad, but I’ve been doing it for the last 10 years, and I’m finally to the point that it’s a problem. so, cold turkey, tiki’s gone sober. unless I’m with other people that are drinking 😉
2 – images are now 700 pixels wide. in all the years past images were 500 pixels wide, but from the stats that I’ve been seeing over the last 6 months indicate that the vast majority of visitors to MCS can support the larger image size.
3 – I’m going to be much much more stringent about the image upload guidelines. primarily, posts that aren’t labeled properly and posts that are just stupid will be declined. sorry to those of you that enjoy airplanes or dick girls.
So how did you spend your New Years Eve?
Yay no more dick girls and pussy guys!!! Woohooo! I need to find someone to go with the movies with me. Sober Tiki woot! MCS is going to do nothing but get better then. You can at least drink a single beer every now and then and be okay dude. Nothing better then a cold beer after a long day. An occasional airplane is cool
My New Years Eve was boring.

what if i’m drinking at my house alone and you’re drinking at your house alone? i never drink more than six beers at a sitting (ok a few times a year i do 12) so you wouldn’t have to drink for long.

Crazy. I made a similar resolution, although I do doubt my resolve. I did just drink a cup of freakin’ green tea instead of booze however, so that’s a good start I think. Keeping it around just for when company’s over will be the tricky part.
I think one of the keys to beating an addiction is recognizing and respecting that you have a problem. and having a plan and support. you definitely need a drinking buddy.
maybe one of your new neighbors is a loner lush too and needs a drinking buddy. maybe next theme day should be “flyers to help tiki find a drinking buddy that he can post around his neighborhood”.
