These are very cool though. My microbiology prof. has tons of those little stuffed microbes and throws them at us in class. Its kinda ridiculous.
Lotus Eater:
Viruses do not have flagella, they are not alive and thus couldn’t really use them if they did. Viruses are usually just RNA or sometimes DNA in a capsule, sometimes with some proteins to help transcribe their genetic material.
Yeah that is pretty much what i already knew, i mean iam nto trying to sound cocky here or anything because i wasn’t sure if it was correct or not. Viruses are absolutely fascinating. I mean think about it, a strand of DNA basically turns your own cells against you. It’s a really wild concept.
WTF, WHY!
this is perty neat-o
This is more than neat-o. It’s nice-o.
This is fucking awesome.
Epic post.
This makes me interested in biology or w/e
E-Coli would make a fine clit tickler device.
E. Coli is a bacteria and not a virus. Nerd fail.

That is what i thought but i was too lazy to wiki it.
Also that would explain why that virus has flagellum, and if i recall biology class properly viruses do not have flagellum.

E-coli looks pretty hardcore… I wonder if you could even hold that sculpture without pricking a dozen holes in your hand.
