We pronounce the L in solder too. Then again, I live in Australia, where people speak English slightly worse than the English, but at least take a crack at most of the letters in a given word.
This better be for hobbyist modding for a console. Try telling the @...#$%## drafting engineer that you can’t ship because he revised the board wrong… then he gets the idea that you can hack this out for the first sixty sample boards.

I’ve never heard anyone pronounce solder without the l. Then again, I live in England, where people speak English properly.
