Took me a minute to get it. It’s a stereogram (3d image hidden in a pattern – think “sailboat” from the movie “mallrats”). It’s kind of hard to explain how to do it, but here goes an attempt:
1. Look at it so it’s at eye-level and about 10 inches from your face.
2. Let your eyes relax so that you’re focusing on a point BEHIND the monitor
3. Try to adjust the distance of your focus so that the repeated words overlap eachother.
When you finally get it, what you’ll see is that the image becomes 3D. All of the text is in the background, with the exception of two white boxes that pop out towards you. The first reads “Stop wasting your time” and the other reads “get a life.”
If you aren’t familiar with the technique, it takes several minutes to do your first one, but if you’ve done them before you should get it within 30 seconds or so. Google stereogram to get some practice.
That’s so weird, I actually saw “stop wasting your time” by just glancing at it, but I came back to it and actually *tried* to figure it out and now I don’t see it anymore. =(
Well, I’m off to pick up my sister so we can drive 6 hours to Englehart in northern Ontario visit our parents for the Thanksgiving weekend (in Canada), and celebrate my father’s, grandsmother’s and sister’s birthdays. Will probably also go partridge hunting while we’re there. See, life, I have one.
RAAGHGHG It took me forever, but here I am, a day later. I googled stereograms and finally understood that they require PHYSICAL CROSSING OF YOUR EYES, not lack of focus.
idk what the secret message is but anything that is cryptic makes me automatically LOSE THE GAME
Ok… I’ll do what you say… damn internet picture preaching me on how *mumbling*
not seeing shit besides 2 recessed areas…
oh wait, i got it now
O_o
Tl,dr.
Not gonna bother. These things never work for me.
“stop wasting your time”?
You’re not supposed to say it…
i can’t get it to work, i just saw that a couple of times in the text D:
I can never ‘see’ these things.

It may be easier to try 20-24 inches instead. Depends on your eye control.
This is the first time that I’ve seen this accomplished using only text, think of the stuff that could be hidden in the books all around us.
stop wasting your time.
get a life.
next… 8/
Haha awesome, I didn’t know you could get that to work with text. It seems too sparse to be able to trick the eyes, but it does.
I don’t see the letters but I do see a weird pattern in the text.
I must be retarded.
what it no appear?

Now this is a good use of my time wasting.

grumble grumble.
just spent about 10 mins on this, still don’t see it.
I see the “stop wasting your time”
but I just don’t see the “3D” aspect of it.
at all.
RAAGHGHG It took me forever, but here I am, a day later. I googled stereograms and finally understood that they require PHYSICAL CROSSING OF YOUR EYES, not lack of focus.
I SEE IT NOW.
MY TIME HAS NOT BEEN WASTED.
yea well i STILL can’t see it D:
I kept on seeing “Pork Rings” for some odd reason, before I finally saw it.
mmmm… Don’t even know what that is, and I WANT.
I see a pattern of light and dark and it seems to be something, but I can’t tell what.
