Hmmmm not much surf. Sorry I live in California so whenever I see the beach I think of waves first. Otherwise cool boardwalk. We have on in my town too. It’s a 102 years old. I was there during their Centennial celebration. They showed The Lost Boys on a screen on the beach. The Lost Boys was filmed on the boardwalk. Was so surreal and awesome. The sequels suck. Wow tangent.
What makes you think that I think Maryland doesn’t have problems like other cities too? I’m from Europe and I’m putting together a list of specific places I want to visit when I go to America, I never said that they had to be all perfect, problem-free places. Also, a place with problems can still be beautiful. Don’t be destroying my dreams people.
As a Baltimoron, I can attest that Baltimore has a lot of violence. I’ve lived all over the state, from Baltimore, Harford county, Ocean City, etc.
I can tell you right now that 99% of the crime in Baltimore is contained in West Baltimore, where no one but drug dealers and gang bangers live, and 99% of the crime is gang on gang crime. I’ve walked in downtown Baltimore countless times, alone, with friends, and as long as you stay in the right places, you’re fine.
Western Maryland and Ocean City are faaaar from Baltimore, anyway. Baltimore has a lot of great bars, like in Fells Point, near the Harbor, Federal Hill, shit- even Elicott City has some nice breweries. I will be your tour guide, Die! Can anyone say bar crawl and drunk camping? Hell yes.
That’s my mom and dog in the last picture, poor thing was freezing his ass off.
My favorite part of Baltimore is Fell’s Point. For some reason I’ve never been to Ocean City. It’s the closest beach to me, but I keep ending up somewhere else, Jersey Shore, Virginia and the Carolinas.
Bar crawl and drunk camping! Haha wow, yeah that sounds undoubtedly good to me. I’m feeling honoured too, I’ll let you know for sure.
Also I honestly don’t know much about any kind of gangster places, the only thing that comes close are maybe a couple of poor European villages I’ve been too but that’s it. So naturally I’m naive about it, but that’s not how I want to travel, picking out only places that have no flaws. I’m going to have to read up on some Baltimore history now.
It’s a nice place to hang out in the winter; I lived there for about seven years. Waking up at 9am, riding your bike down to Layton’s to get a nice breakfast, then walking on the beach with your dogs. We used to live on 26th street, bayside, we had a canal, our own boat… Used to go out to Assateague and just chill with the wild ponies.
It’s certainly not California, but I love it regardless.
18 year old drunk chicks come down the week after school’s out for Senior Week, though a lot more than HS seniors come down. Basically turns Ocean City from a semi-populated place to a fuckin’ party bus. Drunk people everywhere.
So.
I take it you live in Marlyand?

Great movie. Must be surreal to live on the set.
The suicide rate of the city is high.
Amazing photos. Ok that’s it, Maryland is %100 on my list.
diAntagonista,
Watch any three episodes of “The Wire” about the politics and drugs in Baltimore Maryland, and then re-examine..
sorry to harsh your buzz.. lots of big-city problems there, like everywhere else.
