    Arial is even worse than Helvetica and Times. Is it too much to ask for a nice typeface?

    It’s all about the Futura and the Gill Sans. Garamond, Caslon and Bodoni have their moments as well, but let’s deal with purely sans serifs here.

    the paper/plastic bracelets where you write your cell# they hand out at amusementparks tear off too easily.

    Cheaper to just use a Sharpie. They’re quite proud of those at a buck apiece, especially since they’re advertising on your child.

    Plus, Sharpie has an added bonus of not inflicting Comic Sans on your kid.
