This post should be titled FAIL POST. any white surface wrks just as well as a “projector screen” which is just a fancy name for white surface. Not to mention the teacher is clearly writing over the projection for demonstartion……
Above the whiteboard (which does indeed double up as a projector screen) there is a long case for the roll of projector screen. This case is fixed above the left side of the whiteboards.
The projector is fixed on the ceiling to the right side of the room.
Now I’m loath to make it any more obvious. You’ll figure it out.
Projectors can not be turned. That thing is screwed into the ceiling with a protection cage over it on the right side of the room.
The screen is bolted on the left side of the room.
This is more of a “Set-up FAIL”
I don’t understand.
what the fuck is this shit?
I don’t get it.
Tolly awesome.
So.
What is this shit?
ok, so there’s this white board, and there’s a projector shooting at the white board, but what’s that to the left of the white board?
that’s a projector screen.
why is the projection not on the projection screen?
why?
Once you see it…
No, that’s another white board. It has crap written on it.
Well the projector should be aimed at the left board, he should have written the crap on the right board.
Look above the whiteboard on the left.
Also, I love the smell of dry erase markers.
That’s a bunch of maps rolled up, not a projection screen. I remember these from a few years ago, when I was still in school.
Oh, I see.
Hahahahahha.
MIT teacher?
might not be a fail, if the instructor is intending to write on top of the projection.
does that look like the type of projector that you can just move around?
It sux for the guys on the left side of the room too.

True, he’s drawning a model of the picture.

Who says projectors can’t be turned? They most certainly can, and if set up properly will automatically correct for keystone (digitally or by a lens).
I can’t see it very well, but that looks like one hell of a mount, much more than is required to hold a projector of that size in one place.
It could be “observation FAIL”.
